Hello everyone! Are you wondering what you are going to do this Summer? I know, everyone wants to have an unforgettable time, including myself! Here is the key: the best way to have a wonderful Summer is getting involved in projects and I will tell you why.
For the very first time, last year, I spent Summer far away from my home city in Mexico. I had been there every single Summer, I never realized that what I was doing every year (besides visiting my family, friends and working) was finishing some projects such as: painting our home, fixing the kitchen, etc. Working on those projects (with my family's help of course) brought me an immense joy...it was like charging the battery for the rest of the year!! :)
Now time has changed, I have some other responsibilities here and need to stay the season in Portland, Oregon. But guess what? I am getting involved in more projects: I am waiting for a sunny day to paint the deck, I want to design and make some beautiful, colorful dresses and even better: I want to dedicate at least one hour everyday to write what will be my second book!!
It is a real pleasure when someone says, for example: "Your kitchen looks beautiful , who painted it ? " and you answer..."I did it!! " :) When you get involved in projects there is no room for complaining or sadness. Getting involved in projects totally boosts our creativity, make us feel alive, healthy and tremendously happy! Therefore let's start now working in different projects and we will have the most memorable and happy Summer!!

¡¡Buen día para todos!! ¿Te has preguntando qué vas a hacer este verano? ¡Lo se, cada uno de nosotros desea tener un verano inolvidable, incluyendome a mi misma! No te preocupes,aquí está la clave: la mejor manera de tener un verano maravilloso es invulcrandonos en proyectos y te diré el porque.
Por primera vez en mi vida, el verano pasado lo pasé lejos de mi ciudad natal en Mexico. Estando ahí cada verano a lo largo de mi vida, nunca me di cuente que lo que en verdad hacía (aparte de visitar a mis familiares, amigos y trabajar) terminar los proyectos que tenía pendiente, tales como pintar parte de mi casa, arreglar la cocina, etc. Trabajar en esos proyectos (con la ayuda de mi familia, porsupuesto) me trajo una inmensa alegría...fera como cargar la batería por el resto del año :)
Hoy los tiempos han cambiado, tengo otras responsabilidades y necesito pasar el verano aquí en Portland, pero ¿a que no sabes qué....? :) Me he involucrado en más proyectos, estoy esperando que salga completamente el sol para pintar el piso del patio de atrás, quiero diseñar y hacerme un vestido bonito, y más importante que todo: ¡quiero dedicar por lo menos una hora por día para reescribir y corregir lo que será mi segundo libro!
Es un verdadero placer cuando alguien nos dice..."wow, tu cocina luce muy bonita ¿quien la pintó?" y tú dices: "¡Yo lo hice!" ¿apoco nooo? Cuando nos comprometemos con nosotros mismos en proyectos de ese tipo, no hay tiempo para tristezas o quejas porque el universo nos provee con lo necesario. Cuando nos involucramos en este tipo de proyectos, nos aumenta la creatividad, nos hace sentir vivos, saludables y tremendamente felices. ¡¡Por todas esas razones, empecemos hoy, involucrémonos en proyectos, trabajemos en ellos y les prometo que tendrémos el verano más memorable y feliz!!
