If Alchemy is the art of transformation, we all (dreamers) are Alchemists!
For some reason, when I am in my kitchen, I always feel I am working in a laboratory.
Last week, while visiting a bookstore, I found a very interesting book which supports my theory. The name of the book is : "ALCHEMY " by Dennis William Hauck, who attended the University of Vienna where he studied Mathematics, he also wrote many interesting facts in the book....I love facts and have been enjoying a lot reading them!
Let's start with the basic definition of Alchemy: it is a discipline that teaches how to convert one thing to another. Alchemy not only gave birth to chemistry, but also to modern psychology and all the other sciences. Throughout , this fascinating science has been in every social, artistic, medical or psychological transformation : Slavery into freedom, poverty into wealth. disease into health, war into peace, folly into wisdom, etc.
In every place where we practice art, there is a laboratory ("labora" means work) our kitchen is our laboratory when we work with passion! Our ancestors used to say "All the qualities of a good alchemist can be found in a person who can cook an egg perfectly", here is the answer to my feeling!! In other words, when we add our passion and dedication to any thing we do,even to a little and humble chore, the most wonderful thing can happen!
Therefore, we all have the capability of transforming things and situations! Let's transform our entire world into another much better!!

Si Alquimia significa el arte de transformar, todos nosotros(los soñadores u optimistas) podemos ser alquimistas!
Por alguna razón, siempre que estoy en la cocina me siento como si estubiera trabajando en el laboratorio. La semana pasada, mientras visitaba una librería, encontré un libro muy interesante que vino a apoyar mi teoría, el libro se llama: "Alquimia". El autor, Dennis William H., asistió a la Universidad de Vienna para estudiar Matemáticas. En su libro, Dennis señala fantásticos hechos, y como me encantan los libros que muestran evidencias, estoy disfrutando bastante al leerlos!
Vamos a empezar por la definición de Alquimia. Alquimia es una disciplina que nos enseña cómo transformar una cosa en otra. La alquimia no sólo le dio origen a la Química, sino tambien a la psicología moderna y a todas las demás ciencias. A traves de la historia, esta fascinante ciencia ha estado en cualquier social, artistica, médica, o psicológica transformación. Por ej, de la esclavitud a la libertad, de la pobreza a la riqueza, de la guerra a la paz, de la enfermedad a la salud, de la locura a la sabiduría, etc.
En cada lugar en el cual practicamos el arte, existe un laboratorio...Labora, significa trabajo...Nuestra cocina es nuestro laboratorio cuando trabajamos con pasión. Nuestros ancestros solían decir: "Todas las cualidades de un buen alquimista pueden ser encontradas en la persona que cocina un huevo perfectamente" ¡¡Aquí está la respuesta que tanto había buscado !! :) En otras palabras, cuando le agregamos pasión y dedicación a cualquier cosa que hacemos, por más humilde que parezca, cosas maravillosas pueden suceder!!
Por esa razón, si todos nosotros tenemos la tremenda capacidad de transformar cosas y situaciones, te invito a que transformemos el mundo enetero en otro mucho mejor para todos!!
