Beyond Traditions!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful time! I  am fascinated with these days of the year because Christmas celebrations are around the corner,   that time when we forget the wrongs and celebrate together!
Today is a very special day in the life of Mexicans and Hispanics overall, as we celebrate the day of the dead, a tradition dating back to the 1800s.BC   http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/D%C3%ADa_de_Muertos
Personally, I have very beautiful memories with my siblings when we were children. Our loved ones buried in the town where my parents were lived before they got married. My mother traveled to that place for three or four days and I was in charge of my younger siblings.
It was a great time for each of us as we each had some chores and as a reward, I used to sew some clothing for them, That made us so happy, we always remember that and laugh. Our childhood days are so beautiful when we were happy with little things.

Over the years, I realized that the Day of Dead goes beyond celebrating our loved ones who have passed away. I am convinced that the Day of the Dead is a time to meditate, to let go of things that hurt us. When we get rid of feelings or things which hurt us, we are welcoming a new life.We feel totally refreshed!

Today I invite you to give yourself a chance to bury all the things we dislike not only in ourselves, but others here. Also I invite you to start new projects. Starting new projects will  renew  us with vitality and enthusiasm! Those things are essential for a wonderful life!

Warmly!
