Last week I had the privilege of having lunch with my brother. I say it was a privilege since none of my seven biological siblings live in The U.S. My brother, who is almost four years younger than I, is a person worthy of admiration. In spite of not having attended college and obtained a degree, he is great in human relationships and negotiating with people. What caught my attention, while talking to him this past week,was that he told me he always remembers some phrases I mentioned when he was very young. I went back with memories and remembered that I started reading self improvement books since the age of 15, so he was just eleven. : ) This caused me quite a joy, even though I only saw him for a few hours. His comments left me thinking all weekend. I don't know if this happens to you, but whenever I have an interesting conversation, it's like having a cassette and rewinding in your mind, trying to keep the best of the talk.
Certainly, I think my brother, like every successful person, has the divine treasure of giving. I believe that another thing that has helped him to succeed is his loyalty for friends and superiors (bosses at work), which summarized is the same thing: to give sincere respect, admiration and friendship to people close to us. Many times we are born with that quality and sometimes we have to work to acquire it.
Today I exhort you to develop the divine treasure of giving. It does not have to be money, it can be a kind phrase, a sincere compliment, a flower or a smile. We should practice giving something every single day. In order to achieve all of our dreams, we need to be suitable not only to give but also to receive all the goodness of this world.
When we practice the gift of giving with full awareness that nothing is left in a vacuum and that life returns us everything and much more, it is when we start reaching true success! Let's practice it!!

La semana pasada tuve el privilegio de almorzar con mi hermano. Digo que fue un privilegio, pues nigúno de mis siete hermanos biológicos viven en EEUU. Me causó bastante alegría verle aunque fuera sólo por unas cuantas horas. Mi hermano, quién es casi cuatro años menor que yo, es una persona digna de admirarse, pues a pesar de no haber asistido a la universidad y obtenido un título, es buenísimo en las relaciones humanas y negociando con la gente. Lo que me llamó bastante la atención, mientras hablaba con él esta semana que pasó, fue que me dijera que siempre recordaba las frases que yo mencionaba desde que él era muy niño y que las ha aplicado en su vida. No me exageró, pues hice memoria y recordé que yo empecé a leer libros de superación personal desde la edad de 15 años, así que él tenía apenas once :=)
Sus comentarios me dejaron pensando todo el fin de semana, no se si a ustedes les pasa, pero siempre que tengo una conversación interesante, es como si recorriera un castete en mi mente y trato de quedarme con lo mejor.
Indudablemente, creo que mi hermano, al igual que todas las personas con éxito, posee el divino tesoro de estar capacitado para dar.Otra otra cosa que le ha ayudado bastante a triunfar es la lealtad por sus amigos y superiores (jefes de trabajo), que a resumidas cuentas viene siendo lo mismo: dar o brindar sincero respeto, admiración y amistad a las personas que tenemos cerca. Muchas veces nacemos con esa preciosa cualidad y otras veces tenemos que trabajar para adquirirla.
Hoy los exhorto a que desarrollemos el divino tesoro de regalar. Al regalar, no necesariamente tiene que ser dinero, puede ser una frase amable, un elogio sincero, una flor o una sonrisa, pero debemos practicarlos todos los días. Para poder alcanzar todos nuestros sueños, no sólo necesitamos estar aptos para dar, sino también para recibir toda la abundancia de este mundo.
¡Cuando practicamos el don de dar con plena conciencia de que nada queda en el vacio y que la vida nos regresa todo y multiplicado, es cuando empezamos a alcanzar el verdadero éxito! ¡Practiquémoslo!
